The order will rotate each year with

1st to last
-
2nd to 1st
-
3rd to 2nd
-
4th to 3rd

The prime 8 weeks will be defined as the 8 weeks starting on the 3rd Saturday in June
-
Those 8 weeks are divided into (4) 2 week time slots

For 2021 those time slots will be

6/19 to 7/3
-
7/3 to 7/17
-
7/17 to 7/31
-
7/31 to 8/14

Go thru the order the first time and each selection gets to pick a 2 consecutive week time slot

If time slot is in the prime weeks must pick one of the (4) prime 2 week slots

If picking outside the prime weeks can pick any 2 consecutive weeks

Go thru the order the 2nd time and each selection gets to pick any available one week time slot

Continue thru the order additional times where people can pick an additional week. Once someone passes the others can continue to pick until such time as no additional weeks are selected

The allocation of weeks selection process will begin each year on Jan 1st
-
in 1st round each selection has 7 days to make their selection
-
in subsequent rounds each selection has 5 days to make their selection

once a selection is made the next family will be notified and their time on the clock will start then (eg. if 1st family makes their selection on Jan. 2nd than the next family will have 7days from that date or until Jan. 9th to make their pick. In rounds after the 1st round the time frame will be 5 days).

As selections are made, this information will be posted on the mccarty_mackinac Googlegroups so everyone will know which weeks have been selected.
